Job Description
Works independently to evaluate guided weapons components, systems and subsystems. Supports the development, verification and validation of models and simulations of systems and subsystems. Initial work involves the evaluation of dynamic navigation algorithms for air vehicles based on fixed ground features observed by gimbaled Synthetic Aperture and High Range Resolution Radar platforms.
Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics;
B.S required, M.S. or PhD highly desired
10 years' experience in areas related to described duties
Required skills: Experience in modeling and analysis of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and High-Resolution Real Beam Radar platforms, signal processing algorithms, and RF target signature modeling.; computer programming experience (C, C , Matlab/Simulink, or FORTRAN); skilled in technical writing and briefing.
Desired skills: Experience in modeling and analysis of airborne navigation algorithms.
Applicants selected for this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance, and background screening. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
