Job Description
Develops real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulations of guided weapons; develops and executes test plans for uses HWIL simulation testing to evaluate weapon system and subsystem performance; performs integration of HWIL facility equipment and weapon guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) subsystems into HWIL simulations; performs tests and analyses to verify and validate simulation performance; performs simulation configuration management / control; produces simulation documentation.
Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics; B.S required, M.S. desired; 5 to 10 years' experience
Required skills: Experience in development and use of weapon 6DOF simulations; experience in use of Matlab; experience in computer programming in C, C , FORTRAN, or Matlab / Simulink
Desired skills: Experience in development of real-time and/or HWIL simulations of guided weapons; experience in real-time programming using Simulink and Real-Time Workshop
Applicants selected for this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance, and background screening. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
