Description
Engility is seeking Program Specialist expertise to prepare for future contracted positions supporting U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/ Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)/ National Preparedness Directorate/National Training and Education Directorate/Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) located in Anniston, Alabama.
Program Specialist in Emergency Management to build teams of expertise in training delivery. Expertise in the following subject areas shall provide subject matter expertise for Chemical, Biological, Explosive, Radiological, Agroterrorism, Natural Disasters/Emergency Management, International/Domestic Threat, Public Health, and Acute Healthcare. These subject areas may be expanded dependent on FEMA CDP national needs.
Qualifications
Must have 10 years of experience working within one of the 10 emergency response disciplines that support all-hazard incident response: law enforcement, fire service, emergency management, emergency medical service, hazardous materials, Government/administrative, health care, public health, public safety communication, and public works. Comparable military experience or federal/private sector experience may be acceptable. Must have all-hazards experience with man-made and natural disasters or Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) experience is required. This may be documented by related work experience (civilian or military) required in one or more of these areas: international, federal, state or local disaster response and disaster relief, natural disaster management, CBRNE and WMD incident response and management, agroterrorism events, Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) response, hospital emergency operation, or incident command. Completion of ICS 100/200/700/800 is required; and, ICS 300/400 is desirable. Experience with National Incident Management System (NIMS), Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) IV, the National Response Framework (NRF) and Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) is desirable.
