TCMA is looking for an intelligent, energetic, and creative individual to help support the organization and monitoring of our annual Spring/Summer outdoor events for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on the Woodrow Wilson Plaza. Events include the 17th annual LIVE! Summer Concert Series and the weekly Capitol Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) Farmers Market.
This internship opportunity is unpaid (requires college/university credit), but offers an invaluable opportunity to gain real world experience in a fast - paced environment. We offer up to 20 hours/week and flexible scheduling for students.
Responsibilities
* Assist team members with monitoring daily performances, communication and coordination with artists
* Assist with various social media promotional campaigns
* Outreach and communicate with performers and vendors, monitoring decibel levels and attendance at concerts
* Online engagement and social media monitoring and maintenance
* Provide organization and administrative tasks
Requirements
* Pursuing a Bachelors degree
* Professional appearance and manner
* Ability to take direction and work independently
* Familiarity with social media platforms
* Reliable transportation
