Job Description
Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA) is a private sector building management and hospitality service provider at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.  The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is recognized as a premier location in Washington DC, to stage events requiring the highest level of excellence in terms of service, food quality and presentation, and logistical planning. Currently our Marketing Department is seeking a dynamic, creative Graphic Designer to add to its team.

Job Overview:
This resourceful, independent and creative individual will manage programs, create graphics and oversee projects as well as assist in the development and implementation of all marketing activities for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will oversee:
  • All design implementation, in support of departments/brands at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center creating and revising graphics for various marketing elements, including: branding, advertising, collateral, web, email, promotional products, internal events, signage and visual displays.
  • Develop and maintain brand standards and oversee compliance company-wide ensuring consistent visual brand experiences across all touch points
  • Collaborate with the marketing team by guiding conceptual design discussions and development for brands, products or services.
  • Oversee management of photo and video archive and other assets
  • Manage production specifications and materials, bidding/negotiating pricing and the printing and production of materials
  • Maintain and oversee relationships/projects with freelance designers
  • Arrange meetings with new vendors
  • Manage or assist with special projects and other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 3-5 years graphic design experience with demonstrated project leadership preferred
  • Possess expert knowlege in Adobe Creative Suite tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of marketing, media, and design principles
  • Demonstrated design expertise in all mediums including print, large format, web including social media and knowledge of best practices for production and usability
  • Talent for managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, exhibiting flexibility and the ability to create multiple creative concepts with speed
  • Must be detail- oriented while working in high pressure environments to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A team player that's positive and innovative
  • Photography/videography experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CSS, HTML 5 and Word Press required
