Michael Grochowski

Education Program Director, Pan-African Community Association

Michael Grochowski is the Education Program Director at Pan-African Community Association (PACA), coordinating after school and leadership programs for refugee and immigrant young people, for which he recently received an Outstanding Community Partner award from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). Michael is also a graduate student in the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management at UWM and an officer for the school's Nonprofit Leadership Student Association (NLSA). Outside of school and work, he is a founding member of the AmeriCorps Alums Milwaukee chapter, which plans social and volunteer events to unite AmeriCorps alumni in Milwaukee. Michael is an alumni of AmeriCorps terms of service with City Year Milwaukee, AmeriCorps VISTA, and Public Allies Milwaukee and holds a bachelor's degree in print journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
