Communications Potomac Job Corps Center has six dormitories and trains more than 700 students each year. There are many fun activities to take part in on center, such as billiards, arts and crafts and choir, as well as several sports, including baseball, basketball, softball, soccer and flag football. Students can also take advantage of leadership opportunities through the Student Government Association, the Student Ambassadors Program, the Student Leadership Program, dormitory officer positions and community service projects. Potomac Job Corps Center partners with several employers to give students real-world experience. Employer partners include Cement Masons Local 891; the Department of Labor; the Department of Interior; MAK Electrical; Sears; Sheraton Suites; State Farm Insurance; Telesec Corestaff; U.S. Naval Research Lab; the Washington, D.C., Public School System and Xerox Business Services.
