Purpose:

As a Senior Refractory Inspector at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of work performed in accordance with relevant codes and specifications. Your inspections will contribute to maintaining the integrity and safety of our projects, supporting our mission to deliver sustainable change in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits to verify compliance with industry standards and project specifications, ensuring adherence to Worley's commitment to sustainable practices.
  • Document inspection findings accurately and comprehensively, maintaining meticulous records to facilitate traceability and accountability throughout project lifecycles.
  • Uphold the maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment essential for inspection activities, promoting efficiency and reliability in our operations.
  • Execute various clean-up and housekeeping tasks to uphold safety standards and organizational cleanliness, fostering a conducive work environment for sustainable project delivery.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in the industrial construction/maintenance sector, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections and ensuring compliance within the energy, chemicals, and resources domains, aligning with Worley's commitment to sustainable transformation.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Possession of API 936 certification required, showcasing expertise in refractory inspection and validation, essential for maintaining quality and safety in our projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions, ensuring readiness to fulfill the demands of on-site inspection activities.
