Purpose of Position | This role, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Compliance and Processing, holds a central position in overseeing the preparation, processing, reconciliation, reporting, and maintenance of financial and accounting documentation for federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs. The incumbent navigates the complexities of compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records associated with various aid programs. With a meticulous approach, the individual actively engages in the reconciliation processes, addressing potential discrepancies, contributing to the generation of timely and accurate reports and effectively collaborating with the management team. |

Qualifications | Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 4 years of related experience. A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial management is crucial for this role. Strong Communication Skills Proficient in both verbal and written communication. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability to analyze and solve complex problems. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in handling financial and accounting documentation. Computer/Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and relevant technical skills required for financial reconciliation and reporting. |
