Job Description

Are you an experienced DoD Capability Portfolio Manager with demonstrated expertise in concept development, technical development, and programmatic oversight? Then we have a great opportunity for you to join our growing team as a Senior Analyst Portfolio Manager at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E) Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) Office in Falls Church, Virginia!

 A week in the life of a JCTD Senior Analyst Portfolio Manager:

  • Serve as the functional and technical expert to assess and support oversight of rapid prototyping efforts, including concept development, technical development and programmatic oversight.
  • Provide project management support to include: project proposal reviews, analysis, and funding recommendations.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and staff ongoing projects and technical/operational demonstrations (i.e. funding documents, memorandums, agreements, program reviews, reports, briefs, etc).
  • Collaborate with government labs, the Services, academia, and industry as required to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support and attend various stakeholder engagements to include: DoD and IC boards and councils (i.e. Functional Capabilities Board), communities of interest forums, technical exchange meetings, and working groups.

 

Job Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in technology/capability development, project management, and Joint Warfighting Concepts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline.
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience preparing presentations and other visualization forms to communicate results to senior audiences.
