Purpose of Position | Provide safe and appropriate transportation to meet the University’s needs and to provide safe work vehicles and equipment for Operation and Maintenance personnel and the Campus Community. |
Primary Responsibilities |

Qualifications | High school diploma/GED required with 3 years of related experience with 1 year of previous related management experience. Commercial Driver’s License is preferred but not required. (Must obtain within 6 months of hire date.) Must possess ability to perform mechanical repairs on all types of vehicles/engines including gasoline powered, diesel powered, battery powered, etc., prefer ASE certification. Must be able to perform emergency mechanical repairs on roadsides and in adverse weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat/cold, snow, ice, rain, etc. Must be physical able to perform frequent medium heavy to maximum exertion. Must possess basic computer skills. Must be flexible to work any and all hours associated with responding to perform mechanical repairs to snow/ice removal equipment during Winter months. |
