Job Description
Opening and closing the Student Union/University Center on weekday evenings and a few weekends.

Oversee all building operations during the shift.

Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor and pipe & drapery throughout the conference rooms.

Straighten and organize public areas including event spaces.

Communicate well with professional staff and co-workers.

Work well in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide evening and weekend supervision for the Student Union/University Center.

  • Overall responsibilities include unlocking and locking the doors, enforcement of department policies and procedures, security of the buildings, execute emergency plans, supervision of student employees in various areas, and ensuring that customer needs are met.

  • Building managers are the key contact for all customers and visitors of the Student Union/University Center and represent the professional staff in their absence.

This position reports to the Associate Director.
Qualifications
Must be a current student of NKU or incoming Freshman/Transfer Student.
