Job Description
This application will suffice for all graduate assistantship positions. Specific responsibilities will be assigned by your supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary based on hiring department. Tasks will be assigned that enhance your professional development or aid faculty members in their duties. Areas of development will be different depending upon the area of study, but may include: working in a clinical setting, database management, and scholarly activity. Work with faculty may include, but is not limited to grading, tutoring and classroom assistance.
Qualifications
Must have and maintain a graduate grade point average of 3.00 or above. Must be enrolled at NKU for graduate credit. Graduate assistants must show evidence of skills necessary to successfully perform the specific duties required by that assistantship. Any candidate who is offered a position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. Hours of work may vary.
