Job Description

Our law office seeks to hire a polished, well-organized, and highly professional paralegal to provide direct litigation support to our team of litigators.  This is a unique opportunity to serve alongside talented paralegals and lawyers within a purpose-driven firm to provide direct and substantive support to our attorneys and clients. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to organize and maintain multiple case and research files 
  • Assisting attorneys with trial and hearing preparation 
  • Coordinating with clients and attorneys to obtain and prepare case-related evidence  
  • Evaluating evidence and facts and preparing cases for litigation 
  • Maintaining up to date details on court decisions and status of claims 
  • Maintaining litigation details with absolute precision 
  • Interfacing with court personnel, clients, and opposing counsel 
  • Drafting correspondence 
  • Assisting with deposition and hearing preparation 
  • Preparing cases for litigation 
  • Review and evaluating evidence

 

Job Requirements

Education/Job Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 4+ years of paralegal experience 

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must 
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to collaborate with a team 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience with standard office programs (Adobe, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to analyze facts and review of evidence to provide substantive input on claims 
  • Ability to coordinate with clients in a professional and courteous manner 

The ideal candidate should be available to work a full-time schedule with some flexibility to ensure project needs are met.  The individual should be highly organized with superior attention to detail with an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.  Salary and benefits package is highly competitive.  Individuals having prior law firm experience supporting litigation attorneys required.
