Sets goals for the IT department and works with upper management and clients to deliver specific software programs designed to perform a variety of tasks.
Communicates and coordinates with team members to design, program, and deliver computer programs and related technologies to clients, customers, and staff.
Oversees the testing, delivery, and trouble-shooting of IT applications, as well as web development and network security protocols.
Experience:
DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
Experience with Navy IT systems including:
Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)
DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository-DoN (DITPR-DON)
DoN Application and Database Management System (DADMS)
10+ years of experience managing IT systems and IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.
Education:
Complete certification and certification sustainment related training/continuing education as required to maintain certification status in accordance with the contract statement of work.
