Position Summary
As a Security Systems Specialist, you will be an expert in managing electronic security installation projects. This role will focus on maintaining large-scale fault-tolerant systems. This role will ensure equipment serving the physical security applications are reliable and accessible. The following will be the responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing security vendors that are delivering security projects
- Work with a team of other program managers
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
- Schedule and manage weekly coordination calls with the security team to make sure the project was delivered on time
- Review the security design and make sure it meets customer standards
- Track schedule and performance
- Troubleshoot server related issues as it pertains to Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Work with networking teams to diagnose and isolate issues as it pertains to network connectivity to servers
- Create solutions/scripts that automate mass configuration changes or updates to the servers.
- Document system architectures and automated solutions to be reviewed by security teams
- Interface with internal technical teams such as engineers, network administrators, site reliability engineers, cybersecurity teams, etc.
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through to deployment, operation and refinement.
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
- Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
Specific position requirements are as follows:
- High school diploma with 10+ years of experience required
- Travel may be up to 25%, but much less in most cases
- Must have 5+ years of security project delivery experience
- Must be well versed in security technology and security design practices
- Engineering degree is a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- PSP certification is a plus
- Experience with Smartsheet and PlanGrid are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Progressive Experience:
- 3-5 years experience managing the configuration and maintenance of enterprise level servers
- 3-5 years experience troubleshooting network related issues
- 2-3 years experience in automating configuration and maintenance of enterprise level servers through powershell, python, or other languages
- 2-3 years experience in configuration and maintenance of server level operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- 2-3 years experience creating technical documentation that covers any of the following: System topologies, communication paths, instructional playbooks, etc.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years experience managing physical security systems such as CCTV or Access control systems
- CCNA Certification or similar networking certifications
- Familiarity working with Dell Poweredge servers

Pay Range: $103,875 - $166,200
