Job Description:

This individual will serve as a site engineer performing remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 sites. Travel to sites is expected on a yearly basis. This individual will perform daily interactions with partner entities and will need experience in Linux and Ciena to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of telecom network and software packages.  

The Level 1 System Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: 

• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. 

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Position requires Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
