Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities are assigned based on area of concentration.
  • Receives exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration.
  • The incumbent is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.

Education Required:

  • High School Junior, Senior, or High School graduate.

Experience Required:

  • No experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Current enrollment in high school or at a regionally accredited college or university. College interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
  • Grade point average of at least 2.5.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
  • Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
