Job Description
Student Employment.
Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of a Bouldering Wall Assistant is to supervise the bouldering wall and all participants, set routes, teach proper spotting technique, provide program and facility information, assist in maintenance of bouldering wall, activity set-up and take down, take daily equipment inventory, and assist with special events.
Qualifications
A. General: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

B. Skill: CPR & First Aid Certifications, CRC Ladder Training. Must have experience in rock climbing. Experience in route setting is preferred.

C. Physical: Able to lift 50 lbs.

D. Academic: Must meet University requirements for enrollment and student employment.

TRAINING PERIOD: Orientation session and policy manual provided. On-going in-service training attendance mandatory.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
