Work Schedule
Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Applicant must be able to work up to 25 hours a week during Fall and Spring terms. Summer hours may also be available. 

Work hours are arranged around a class schedule.

There are no evening hours and no weekend hours.
Job Description
This position is the first point of contact to prospective students, current students, parents, and the public for the university One Stop office.

Customer Service Student Assistant will convey a knowledge and understanding of university policies in student registration, academic records, admissions, and financial assistance. Will provide prompt professional resolution to the call and exceed customer caller expectations.

Customer Service Student Assistants are responsible for successfully completing on the job training, phone and customer service training, as well as gaining and maintaining knowledge and understanding of university policies, procedures, and university departments in order to perform in this position.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
· Receiving mail and documents delivered to the One Stop
· Transporting documents from the One Stop to Financial Aid/Registrar/Admissions
· Monitoring One Stop traffic flow
· Assisting students with basic campus inquiries
· Directing students to the appropriate team members
· Keeping track of number of students we receive
· Escort students from One Stop to other offices
· Assist with answering inquires via phone, email, virtual appointment, or online chat (if needed)
  • Assist with outgoing phone calls
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Skills required:
· Being able to work on your own in an efficient manner
· Proficiency with the software we use (ProSAM, ImageNow, SAP, Microsoft Office programs)
o We will train on our software
· Organization skills and attention to detail are very important
· Customer Service skills
· Being able to handle confidential materials in a professional manner
· Follow directions while working independently
