Talent Strategist, Senior

The Challenge:

Are you passionate about helping organizations use data to select and manage talent effectively? Are you looking for an opportunity to create culture change in government to engage the workforce? Does working with cybersecurity talent inspire you?

You will use your expertise in customized candidate selection, leadership development, client consulting, and business partnerships to examine complex cyber organizations through an innovation perspective and make recommendations for improving human capital and change management practices. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, regularly consulting government leaders on the development of specific solutions to support talent transformation efforts. You will also be asked to serve as an expert practitioner and assist with developing new service offerings and intellectual capital for talent transformation efforts.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 5+ years of experience working with candidate selection, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, or talent management
  • 2+ years of experience conducting organizational assessments or trend analysis, and making recommendations
  • 1+ years of experience using advanced statistical methods and tools, including SPSS or R, to identify drivers of key business metrics, including selection, satisfaction, performance, or turnover
  • 1+ years of experience writing reports, and creating briefing materials and organizational strategies and plans
  • 1+ years of experience supporting large, dispersed client organizations in the federal or private sector
  • Experience delivering high-quality customized talent solutions through assessments and feedback, employee surveys, competency modeling, or cultural analysis, including scale development and validation
  • Ability to drive talent solutions for cybersecurity and technology talent using understanding of how this differs from other talent segments
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology

Nice If You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience managing a team
  • Knowledge of IT, Digital, or Cybersecurity workforce roles and job requirements
  • Change Management, Design Thinking, or Project Management Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
