Organizational Data Analyst and Strategy Consultant

The Challenge:

More isn't always better when it comes to organizational data, and this can become a problem when our clients are motivated to create and collect data without the means to adequately interpret and learn from it. This is where you come in: the data storyteller. You are responsible for culling through masses of potentially unstructured information to tell the story, to paint a picture, to learn from what has been done in order to steer the client toward its objectives. Through the creation of data visualization products using the client's most advanced tools, you grant the client access to new perspectives on how to succeed by analyzing, interpreting, and articulating their story in new ways. You find satisfaction in helping your client mature their processes, policies, technology, and workforce and empowering them to make data-driven decisions. We're looking for you: a strategy consultant with the skills necessary to visualize where the client has been and where it's going. This is the intersection of art and science.

This position will allow you to work with a client's organization to help visualize outcomes, solve challenges, build better business processes, and reinvest resources. As a member of our project team, you'll gather data and information from the systems and staff driving the organization, rearticulating this information in the form of sophisticated and interactive data visualization. Like to see plans in action? You'll build a trusted relationship with your client as your team identifies and anticipates their needs and proposes solutions. As you solve problems, you'll look for more areas of improvement and continue transforming your client's organization.

Join us as we lead change for the better, supporting our clients in building a more data and results-driven workforce.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing complex data sets, data organization, data visualization,
  • 3+ year of experience with generalized strategy and management consulting experience
  • 3+ years of experience with articulating complex data sets in simple, digestible ways using data visualization and dashboarding software
  • Experience with visualizing or analyzing data on platforms or software, including Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau
  • Experience in working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders
  • Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Agile tools, including the Jira platform
  • Experience with RPA and ML
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools including R, Python, and QlikView
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree
