CTAC is seeking an innovative and talented Senior DevOps Engineer. The resource will be part of a Cloud Engineers team responsible for sustaining existing Cloud infrastructure through day to day operations support as well as supporting new and innovative projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in supporting the configuration of new or existing Cloud applications, build and deployments, and application environment infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

• Build out, maintain, and secure applications in AWS Cloud
• Execute and deploy applications builds through Jenkins
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using tools such as Terraform/cloudFormation, Ansible
• Create/Maintain CI-CD pipelines that include Infrastructure as code and environment configuration stages as well as traditional build/deploy/test steps
• Work collaboratively with system administrators and dev teams to ensure applications in the environment are working properly
• Create, maintain, and improve documentation to be used by team members, or delivered to the customer
• Mentor other team members on technology and processes
• Support client audits

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in the IT field
• 3+ years experience supporting AWS Cloud environment and cloud automation
• 3+ years experience in a DevOps role
• Advanced experience with source control tools, continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, services and methodologies (Jenkins, Bitbucket, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Git, Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Build pipeline and solution to provide zero downtime patching

• Build automation to deploy tools and platform

• Knowledge of Linux administration, hardening and compliance
• Advanced linux scripting (Bash, Python, etc)
• Hands on experience with configuration management ( Ansible, Chef, etc)
• Knowledge of networking, database, application performance management, monitoring and alerting system (Prometheus, Nagios, CloudWatch), load balancing, and security systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desired Skills (a plus):

• Experience with one or more audit and compliance tools (Nessus, Lynis, Config, etc)
• Experience supporting government contracts
• AWS and other certifications are a plus
