Facility Systems Analyst- Building Ops & Maintenance

The Facilities Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining software systems specific to the Engineering Department including but not limited to supporting: computerized maintenance management (CMMS), building automation, and electrical power quality monitoring systems. Candidates will interact regularly with department leadership, project managers, Operation managers, technicians, and hospital finance. They will oversee internal and customer implementations of the CMMS software, create assets, PM schedules, tasks and insure all information is accurate within these systems. Routine tasks include reporting, asset management and work planning while supporting misc. requests from contractors, consultants, and construction and operations staff on data collection, equipment requirements, and training new system users.

Responsibilities
    Modifies and maintains CMMS data to support preventative maintenance and service request workflow. Works independently with Project Construction and Facilities Operation management to assist in program development by gathering information for these systems to function effectively.
  • Assists with the establishment and maintenance of user profiles within the CMMS, e.g. security settings and access controls for each program user.
  • Assists with establishing/maintaining equipment records; associates the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations with the equipment preventative maintenance requirements. Provides guidance and support to end users in the operation, use, and capabilities of the software systems.
  • Generates standard and ad-hoc reports using the standard reporting structure of the asset data system, and other end user reporting tools. Generates information for the preparation and distribution of equipment reports to support maintenance teams and management requests.
  • Maintains professional networks and attends training sessions and conferences as necessary to advance skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in business administration or Data Base management or related field with an information technology emphasis

Skills and Experience:

  • Two years of related experience including significant responsibility collecting, entering, and verifying data; supporting users; analyzing workflows and data; and reporting; or any satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
  • Experience integrating Space Management; Operations and Maintenance; Capital Planning and Project Management, Energy and Utilities.
  • Experience as a system administrator for CMMS software (i.e. TMA Systems, or similar systems) and CAFM software.
  • Reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train others with lesser skills
  • Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
  • Knowledge of project management and hospital maintenance function
  • Computer skills including MS Office
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and Team orientation
