AVIAN is searching for an Analyst, Financial Systems to support our team in Patuxent River, Md.

Responsibilities

Primary task is providing advice and technical assistance in funding of PMA.
• Analysts examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods. Examine past and current budgets
• Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
• Entering Data into Excel spreadsheets and formulating proper utilization of basic financial tools

Requirements

• Department of Defense Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting preferred
• Previous basic financial management experience desired
• Minimum of three years of experience in related field
