Who You'll Work With
You will be based in one of our offices in North America and will be part of our Alliances & Acquisitions team SAP Ariba Alliance. This group adds inorganic capabilities for our firm through collaboration or acquisition in order to enhance our ability to serve our clients.
You will be a key leader and visible point of contact among client service teams and clients, as well as in the McKinsey Digital and McKinsey Operations community.
The Cloud revolution is one of the most important technological trends across industries and functions today. McKinsey has forged alliances with several of the leading cloud and software service providers to develop joint capabilities that help us multiply our impact from our digital transformation work and deliver innovative joint solutions to our clients.
What You'll Do
You will lead the SAP Ariba Alliance, one of our strategic alliances in North America.
In this role, you will serve as first point of contact for the Alliance, internally and externally, including working with the Cloud Platform's senior business and analytics delivery leads, senior McKinsey leaders and McKinsey's client service teams.
You will build and maintain joint capabilities with our Alliance, refining value propositions with hands-on experience with some of the most cutting-edge technologies currently. You will lead the Alliance's service team, building infrastructure and developing a network with other relevant McKinsey service lines to accelerate reach across industries and functions. You will also lead Ariba enabled digital transformation engagements.
Qualifications
- University degree; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years' experience in either alliance management and/or technical or business consulting with recent experience in cloud technology product or services delivery, experience with Source-to-Pay platforms a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to develop alliance strategy and operationalize end-to-end across organizations
- Expertise in creating and nurturing trusted relationships with partners in conjunction with driving day-to-day alliance activities
- Technology and start-up experience/tendencies with a demonstrated bias for action
- Superior problem solving and critical reasoning skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and presence
- Ability to quickly grasp range of complex business issues and develop recommendations and solutions to address these issues
