Scope:
  • The Final Inspector will perform all types of Visual Inspection/ Perform First Article/AS9102 to assure products meet customer expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all types of visual inspection related to printed circuit boards using magnification equipment's.
  • Segregate and identify circuit boards with flaws
  • Inspect each board and identify errors and defects
  • Perform First Article/AS9102 report and review for correctness
  • Perform final count of acceptable and rejected boards
  • Proficient use of inspection tools (i.e. Surface plate, gauges, pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, AOI, OPTEK)
  • Perform minor rework/return to conformance
  • Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify COLT (tracking system) in cases of discrepancy
  • Complete report, sign traveler and input data into COLT (non-conformance report)
  • Obtain final report package (deliverable) and move to the shipping department
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Good grasp of basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required
  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) *
  • Limited use in following prints and specifications
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work
  • Ability to comprehend and follow directions regarding inspecting printed circuit boards
  • Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit boards (approx. 5-10 lbs.)
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds without straining
Education and Experience:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of one year experience inspecting printed circuit boards
Export/ITAR Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
