Aireon seeks a Principal Data Engineer to join our Integrated Product Team at Engineering.
As a Principal Data Engineer, you will design and implement data management best practices and develop data architecture guidelines to deliver scalable best-in-class data solutions to internal and external customers. As a team leader, you will be responsible for building and leading highly skilled Data Engineers and Data Analysts while remaining tactical and hands-on enough to drive data architecture design conversations. You and your team will work closely with internal teams to provide ready-to-use data to internal and external data analysts and scientists for business insights analytics and to design, develop, and deliver data solutions. You will coach others, recognize their strengths, manage a variety of viewpoints to create positive outcomes, and act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
