Purpose of Position
Northern Kentucky University School of Allied Health in the College of Health and Human Services invites applications for our Radiologic Science Adjunct Clinical Faculty general pool of candidates from which part time faculty will be selected for the upcoming terms (as needed).
Primary Responsibilities
Radiologic Science Adjunct Faculty responsibilities include teaching radiologic technology clinical courses at local affiliate healthcare institutions. 

Adjunct faculty members will be expected to 
  • Use our course management system (Canvas), 
  • Hold students to high standards for diagnostic exams
  • Communicate with the program director and/or clinical coordinator as needed. 

Candidates interested in teaching clinical practicum courses must be available at least one weekday afternoon or morning during first shift hours to meet with students at the clinical site. 

Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • National certification in radiography by the ARRT and at least two years of clinical experience in routine radiographic imaging. 
  • Must be proficient with radiographic anatomy and positioning and technical image qualities.
  • Master’s degree in education, management, or related field is preferred. 

Official transcripts showing highest degree will be required at the time of hire.  All applicants for this position must have strong communication skills, and be effective classroom facilitators who enjoy teaching in a culturally diverse, student-centered environment.
