Purpose of Position |
NKU is excited to start the inaugural MS Cardiovascular Perfusion Program for Fall semester 2022. For this program to be successful, NKU is looking for board certified perfusionists who are eager to educate aspiring perfusion students. |
Primary Responsibilities | The MS Cardiovascular Perfusion program is seeking cardiovascular perfusionists as adjunct faculty to teach one or two specific courses per semester within their expertise. This position affords the certified perfusionist opportunity to supplement their clinical work with a great educational and teaching experience. This adjunct faculty position includes in-class lecture and course development, to include but not limited to, course schedule, topics covered, assessments, rubrics, learning outcomes and objectives, and the goals for the course. Other responsibilities include curriculum and student evaluations, grading, and upholding to NKU’s mission and core values through the dissemination of factual evidence-based knowledge and experience to the students. |
Qualifications |
Job Requirements Candidates must have the following; 1. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience 2. Current certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) 3. Advance degree (e.g. Masters, PhD, EdD, etc.; undergraduate degree may be considered with extensive clinical expertise and experience) Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. |
