Overview

AVIAN is seeking a Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer to support the execution of an advanced research and development in support of a program analyst.

Responsibilities
    Support the execution of advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) research and development systems. Work with program management and program teams to integrate new capabilities, define gaps, derive requirements, and develop program descriptions, specifications, integrated roadmaps, and detailed schedules. Support the development of acquisition and technical documentation. Serve as the on-site EW liaison to support and coordinate technical reviews, data analysis and reports, and monitor and report team and contract status/execution. Analyze manufacturers' proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Serve as the EW Systems Engineer for coordination of technical program status and execution throughout the design, engineering, integration, test, and program execution process with the manufacturer(s). Develop, execute, monitor, and report status on program efforts, including analysis oftest data.
  • Serve as the EW Systems Engineer for program technical execution, coordination, risk management and communication of concerns and issues with program management and technical leadership. Coordinate functions between government leads, contractor leads, engineers, technical subject matter experts and program management involved in program planning and execution.
  • Support and provide insight to determine the effectiveness of program execution and recommend modifications to processes for program activities. Work with the teams to develop out-year planning and provide input to roadmaps for analysis, risk reduction, development and integration of requirements/capabilities.
  • Travel ( 10-15%) is required for this position.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
  • Candidate must have at least IO years of experience in EW Systems Engineering.


Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Project included) and Adobe products.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate should have experience coordinating operations across multiple organizations.
  • Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
  • Top Secret Clearance is Required
