AVIAN is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in support of work in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Performing a wide range of engineering tasks such as Investigating, analyzing, planning, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and evaluating hardware and software (including military weapon systems)
• Applies experience to perform functions such as developing functional and logical software designs, system integration, configuration management, or engineering resource management.
• Reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
• Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and/or evaluating automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems
• Designing, fabrication, and installation of assemblies
• Overseeing and reconciling prototype issues and deficiencies
• Researching materials and parts
• Leading small teams of people, interacting with and briefing customers and Division Leadership

• BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or one of the following Engineering Disciplines: Electrical, or Electronic or Computer Software is required.

  Proposed Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience in an Engineering/Science Field, six (6) years directly related to Naval Aviation Avionics systems is required.

• Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics and electrical systems.
• This position requires a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
