Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Program Analysis, Senior Analyst to work with a Federal Client in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor current programs and identify gaps.
  • Develop and publish funding opportunities to solicit proposals from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), organize and participate on proposal review panels, craft funding recommendation memos for Assistant Secretary, and ensure timely processing of approved funding actions including contributions to international organizations and cooperative agreements to NGOs.
  • Help Program Officers monitor project implementation via review of quarterly reports.
  • Track office funding to international organizations and NGOs.
  • Prepare briefing materials by helping to collect and synthesize information and implementing partners' protection and assistance programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • High caliber written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in time and resource management.
  • Expert knowledge of computer software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher).
  • Knowledge of Federal program management policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Federal assistance policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze program data for use in evaluating proposals, negotiating award conditions, and monitoring recipient performance as well as preparing briefing materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of Federal programs.
  • Proficient in time and resource management.
  • Knowledge of basic office management procedures.
  • Expert knowledge of computer software suites such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings, arranging conferences, and able to work within demanding rotational assignments.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.
