Purpose of Position | Leads the planning and executing of marketing initiatives for the colleges and Admissions (undergrad & grad) that support the University's mission and vision. Responsible for the development of new program/degree launches with key personnel from colleges and departments. Ensures there is consistency in the brand execution across the university. Collaborates with campus and community key stakeholders to maximize brand, events and campaign execution. |
Primary Responsibilities | Develops marketing strategies and plans to achieve goals, including increases in enrollment and college-sponsored events. Manages and develops marketing initiatives for programs and majors with key leaders from the colleges, programs and departments. Responsible for ensuring all marketing programs meet brand guidelines to maximize brand awareness and equity. Tracks and measures results of marketing campaigns and activities to determine ROI. Works with Director of University Marketing on best way to report on these activities. Collaborates with Director of University Marketing, Director of Web & Digital Strategy and Digital Marketing Creative Services and Communications teams, as well as outside marketing agencies, to develop and produce signature university-wide integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, including digital, content and revenue-oriented projects. Conducts a quarterly market trend analysis to identify new marketing opportunities for NKU. |
Qualifications | Bachelors degree preferable in marketing, business or communications and three years of related experience required. This position manages priorities for multiple colleges, programs and/or departments. Must be able to work independently. This person is a brand ambassador and represents the MarComm team widely across the university. Must have the ability to travel and work nights if required for specific events or projects. Professionalism and exceptional client service is fully expected. Ability to articulate and communicate effective high-level marketing strategy is required. Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. |
