Job Description | The primary purpose of this position is assist the IHI Program Evaluator in obtaining and analyzing qualitative survey data to determine the efficacy of recent changes in Medicaid policies around Substance Use Disorder. This position is supported through a contract with the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest and a current CV. |
Primary Responsibilities | The ideal IHI Graduate Research Assistant is a graduate student at NKU enrolled in a research-based program with experience in community-based research and a range of interviewing techniques. The candidate will need: • strong organizational skills with attention to detail; • excellent client service and networking skills; • the ability to work independently but also keep the site supervisor well informed on challenges as well as progress on the work; • excellent written and oral communication skills; and • strong computer skills. |
Qualifications | Preferred qualifications include experience with: • database management; • counseling or similar clinical skills; • familiarity with the state of Kentucky. Needs access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel (travel costs will be reimbursed).
