The Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager who will play a key role in the management of day-to-day business/facilities operations, logistics, international and distribution. The incumbent will also play a lead role in deployment of organizational initiatives and change management activities. The Operations Manager will oversee and provide mentorship to the Warehouse Supervisor and team.

The Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, and operational directives are consistently and effectively followed.

  • Drive Operational excellence process initiatives.

  • Accountable for operational budget in collaboration with other organizational leaders.

  • Participate in warehouse planning and partner with leadership to develop an effective and efficient operating rhythm for the warehouse.

  • Establish key operational metrics to measure and track effectiveness and efficiencies.

  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.

  • Maintain regular attendance.

  • Willing to work overtime with little or no notice.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

The Individual
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, or Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team; providing mentoring, coaching and feedback

  • Experience with SAP and Ariba a plus

  • Up to 15% travel - Domestic

Key Working Relationships

  • Internal - Customer Service, Planning, Leadership and North America Supply Chain

  • External - Customers, Carrier, Freight Forwarders, Suppliers
