ENSCO, Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer with diverse backgrounds in Digital Engineering (DE), Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Test and Evaluation (T&E) to support the Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques Center of Excellence (STAT COE). This position is part of the Aerospace and Engineering Group (AEG), which is the prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force, providing Systems Engineering & Integration of the Launch Safety infrastructure, the Satellite Control Network, and the Standard Space Trainer.

Are you a self-motivated engineer who thrives on technical challenges and mission critical technology development? ENSCO has a Sr. Staff Model Based Lead Systems, Systems Engineer opening at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

If you have experience leading efforts to define how T&E supports DoD acquisition programs exploring DE, this role is for you! Here you will work with the development at the Model Readiness Level that continuously validates and evaluates models based on multiple criteria each time it moves onto or is requested from a digital thread. Other potential efforts include how does MBSE inform the T&E strategy, identification of standardization needs for data and models, and validation of models before hardware is produced.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

• Bachelor's Degree in systems engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, or similar & 7+ years experience
• Experience in the following:
  • Model based systems engineering or digital engineering tools including CAMEO or SysML like tools
  • Providing statistical/T&E expertise to acquisition program and research projects
  • Leading development of test strategies, technical test designs, and post-test analysis
  • Employing various techniques and methods such as design of experiments, Bayesian analysis, regression modeling, and reliability planning
  • Employ statistical software (e.g. JMP, DesignExpert, R, Matlab or equivalent)
  • Mentor T&E practitioners in STAT processes and technical test design
  • Communicate solutions to leadership orally and in writing, clearly and accurately
  • Provide specific recommendations, best practices, case studies, and lessons learned and post at .

• An Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance is Required for this position, for which, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Qualifications Desired

• MS or PhD in systems engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, engineering discipline, or similar field
