Purpose of Position | To provide temporary administrative support for the department of Health, Counseling, and Student Wellness in the Division of Student Affairs. |
Primary Responsibilities | Providing administrative support for Health, Counseling, and Student Wellness. Responsible for answering phones in a university medical office setting, scheduling medical and counseling appointments, assisting walk-ins, collecting payment, maintaining confidential records and information, maintaining office equipment, and other clerical duties. Must communicate effectively with other academic and administrative departments, as well as students and the public. |
Qualifications | High school diploma or GED and 1 year of responsible experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Effective phone and basic computer skills required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
