Purpose of Position
To provide temporary administrative support for the department of Health, Counseling, and Student Wellness in the Division of Student Affairs.
Primary Responsibilities
Providing administrative support for Health, Counseling, and Student Wellness. Responsible for answering phones in a university medical office setting, scheduling medical and counseling appointments, assisting walk-ins, collecting payment, maintaining confidential records and information, maintaining office equipment, and other clerical duties. Must communicate effectively with other academic and administrative departments, as well as students and the public.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and 1 year of responsible experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Effective phone and basic computer skills required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
