Position Summary

The System Administrator will be a technical resource who performs the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Provides administrative support to the ServiceNow user base
  • Maintains the stability and usability of the platform across production and non-production environments
  • Performs application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation
  • Manages support for incidents
  • Leads upgrade planning and execution
  • Manages instance security: user/group access, administration, access control lists, etc.
  • Provides configuration assistance to developers

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of direct administration experience with ServiceNow
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Release, Knowledge, Performance Analytics etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow's Customer Service Management suite.
  • Working knowledge of the IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite of capabilities, to include MID deployment, Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Event Management, Operations Intelligence, Service Mapping, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
  • Experience with creating and managing ServiceNow reporting features

  • Experience supporting Customer Service Management in a large enterprise environment
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations with other enterprise applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across multiple levels of an organization
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
