Title: System Administrator
Location: US, Remote (PST/CST/EST)
Position Summary:
The System Administrator will be a leader that brings their deep understanding of enterprise IT solutions to design and support business solutions for our internal and external customers.
Our platform team is looking for an experienced candidate who has a deep understanding of enterprise solutions to assist in growing our ServiceNow Team.
Responsibilities:
* Ensures platform alignment with the business strategy
* Provides consultative leadership to the platform team
* Creates and maintains a detailed view of the existing architecture
* Provides architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions
* Manages escalations, including responding to defects
* Participates in process workshops
* Works closely with enterprise architecture team
* Assists in migrating configurations across environments
* Leads the integration of the platform to other systems and processes
* Maintains the stability and usability of the platform across production and non-production environments
* Performs application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation
* Provide administrative support to the ServiceNow user base
* Monitor and optimize the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years of progressive IT experience supporting enterprise applications
* Experience and a working knowledge of customer service support and management systems
* Working knowledge of IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite of capabilities, to include Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Event Management, Operations Intelligence, Service Mapping, etc.
* Excellent knowledge of IT best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest features and strategies
* Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform
* Experience in an Analyst or Project Management role
* Excellent interpersonal skills across multiple levels of an organization
* Proven track record of organizational skills to determine prioritization and manage multiple projects and requests to drive customer success
* Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
* Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience with the Agile methodology, leading sprint planning efforts, reviewing stories against business requirements, managing epics and ordering development logically
* Experience implementing large scale enterprise solutions
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
* Management and Leadership experience
