Northern Kentucky University, 7 miles from downtown Cincinnati is seeking an innovative, collaborative, visionary Doctoral Capstone Coordinator (DCC). As a founding core faculty member of the entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, the DCC is in a unique position to design and initiate doctoral capstone experiences that develop occupational therapy leaders committed to the program's mission of facilitating excellence in academics, entry-level occupation-based practice, collaborative engagement, professionalism, and leadership within a global context to promote health through occupational engagement. As a member of the School of Kinesiology, Counseling, and Rehabilitative Sciences, the DCC will be part of a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with a diverse team of faculty and students.

The DCC is responsible for the coordination, management, and compliance of the Doctoral Capstone Experience as required by section D in the ACOTE standards. In addition, the DCC ensures the quality and integrity of the doctoral capstone and creates a program that meets ACOTE standards, manages faculty, staff, student, and community relationships to support the doctoral experience, and works collaboratively with the OTD Program Director to advance the program's mission. The DCC also teaches courses in the OTD curriculum. The DCC also serves on departmental, school, college, and university committees, and provides service in various areas. The position is full-time, Academic Year, non-tenure-track renewable with a competitive salary.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have earned a doctorate degree from an accredited institution, NBCOT certification, and experience in research embedded in occupational therapy evidence-based practice. Candidates should demonstrate a student-centered focus and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Kentucky.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strengths in collaborative engagement, effective teamworking, self-motivation, attention to detailed, approachability, capstone or clinical research development and instruction, clinical perspective based on occupation-based practice models, dedication to an inclusive and student-centered learning environment, experience in occupational therapy curriculum development and ACOTE accreditation processes.
