In this role, you will develop talent management strategies and quickly build trust-based relationship with internal clients, understand their talent needs and ensure diverse profiles are a priority in their hiring aspirations. Your role responsibilities will include developing profiles, specifications and owning the outreach strategies to find and attract diverse talent. You will plan, coordinate and drive hiring activities. You'll be responsible for the full life cycle of these candidates. You will turn your profile requirements into effective sourcing strategies, using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing and referrals approach to attract and develop candidate interest.
You will guide candidates through our robust election process. You will work hand in hand with candidates and internal clients efficiently guiding both through the election process, synthesizing feedback from assessors and threading together a storyline to articulate the viability of a candidate's success for our election process. You will collaborate with your fellow partner level recruiters. You will coach and support the global partner recruiting team with a diversity lens on their projects as well as lean in on broader searches as necessary.
You will regularly report on progress and provide consistent reporting to leadership on pipelines and progress against our diversity goals. In short, you will be the subject matter expert globally across McKinsey at partner level developing and sharing best practices on senior level diversity and direct elect (partner) hiring processes.
You'll have a great opportunity to participate in recruiting related projects to set best practice around diversity hiring at the top level (e.g., performance metrics) and work to identify and recommend improvement opportunities ensuring ethnic and gender diverse recruiting remains a leadership agenda item. You will also help in developing the skills and capabilities of other members of the recruiting team.
