Implementation Implementation Associate - Growth, Marketing & Sales
Who You'll Work With
You'll be working with McKinsey's Growth, Marketing & Sales Implementation group - a rapidly growing capability for our firm in North America. As a member of McKinsey Implementation, you'll work closely with our client project teams, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey's recommended change in their business.
The Growth, Marketing & Sales practice strives to help clients in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, customer insights, marketing ROI, digital marketing, CLM, pricing, and sales and channel management. What You'll Do
You will help clients build capabilities in delivery and execution, both during an active project and continuing after our consultants have shared their recommendations.
Your primary long-term projects will be closely related to our traditional projects and will provide clients with decisive support in the introduction and implementation of strategic consulting concepts. Focused on sales and marketing engagements, you will be on the ground with the client ensuring that implementation success is a priority. You will engage at a deep level, working in small teams to build our clients' strategies, capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and then ensure those results will be sustained. Your work is about coaching and delivering lasting outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or operations; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing and sales-related business experience with increasingly more senior responsibilities in sales operations, sales transformations, digital marketing, digital transformations, E-consumer, E-marketing, customer loyalty and customer relationship management, brand management, product management, sales and channel management (call center and B2B sales), marketing spend effectiveness, marketing ROI and pricing
  • Strong people skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization (especially frontline)
  • Willingness to "roll up sleeves'" and work at all levels of a client organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations
  • Understanding of the principles of change management and performance metrics and dialogs
  • Comfort with extensive travel (4-5 days a week)

This compensation range is specific to individuals applying to work in our Denver office and takes into account a number of factors. A reasonable estimate of the range for this role is $165,000 - $165,000.
