As a designer for Infor Design, you'll join a dedicated in-house corporate design team responsible for producing and overseeing Infor's global visual identity. You must have a command of visual composition, typographic hierarchy, and creating scalable visual experiences. This role will help keep marketing and sales moving forward with properly branded emails, landing pages, infor.com, social, blogs, PPT presentations, and event graphics. Designers contribute individually and also collaboratively with key members of the creative team, including art directors, creative directors, production directors, Infor Design leadership other stakeholders, including clients. They are comfortable working in all phases of design engagement, from research and comps to final asset production.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Fulfills iterative brand requests by global marketing and other internal Infor entities.
  • Delivers design/layout and final files for print and digital advertising, event assets, and collateral, plus email and landing page images, social posts, presentation design, and web page support.
  • Upholds and contributes to brand standards and brand style guide maintenance.
  • Partners and communicates with internal clients to provide win-win solutions.
  • Presents concepts and finished work to stakeholders with articulately confidently, suppling rationale and supporting research.
  • Collaborates with senior designers, art directors, editorial and video team to reach successful outcomes

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, illustration, visual communications or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand development/design, or a similar role
  • Comprehensive understanding of design development for digital and print. Knows best practices in file organization, sharing, and production
  • Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • A passion for brand design tenets, including conceptualization, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong illustrator, able to visualize rapidly, with little direction
  • Smart, efficient visual interpreter, can think on your feet, turning complex concepts into visual, consumable stories
  • Articulate. At ease with sharing POV, offering support, competitive research, and rationale to any audience
  • Feels at home in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management, organization, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Presents and defends designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
  • Owns all design stages from concept to final handoff, if required
  • Participates in building, maintaining, advocating, educating, and protecting the brand
  • Employs Adobe, MS Office, and Sketch products as design tools to solve and complete design projects. Knows which tool to use depending on scope and phase of the project
  • Contributes to strengthening the team's skills using all tools and has full grasp of internal galleries, Brand Style Guide, and processes
