As a Field Service Engineer (FSE), you will be the customer's first point of contact with Atlas Copco and an ambassador for our brand. The ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, responsiveness to customer demands, computer literacy, detailed field service reports and accurate record keeping are essential attributes for this position. Primary responsibilities will be to perform routine service, fix breakdowns, identify faults, inspect customer warranty claims and perform major overhauls on customers' Atlas Copco Equipment. Our field service engineer position provides a great foundation to understand our products and customers for future mobility within the company.

What We Expect of You?
  • A High School diploma or GED is required

  • Preferred 2 years' experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems

  • Ability to demonstrate and train customers on Atlas Copco equipment
  • Experience servicing fastening tools, knowledge of torque theory and fastening are preferred
  • Basic understanding of PLCs or ladder logic is preferred
  • IT experience with ability to install and troubleshoot software, SQL, networks and databases preferred
  • Equipment troubleshooting experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 60% locally & 40% nationally - this will be regionally dependent
  • Participation in flexible working hours including overtime, weekends and holidays are a requirement
