Job Description
The Department of English is seeking a work study student for the 2021-2022 school year. 
 
Although this position is designed to support both faculty and office staff, the primary duty associated with this position is improving accessibility within the department. This work will include providing support to faculty in their efforts to make their teaching materials and existing documents accessible; however, it may also entail updating PDFs and Word documents and improving Canvas sites.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to general office duties such as: 
Answer Multi-line Telephone 
Filing, Copying and Typing 
Routing Mail 
Running Errands on Campus 
Database Entry 
Assist With Special Projects 
Other Duties As Assigned 
 
Students work approx. 20 hours per week 
Qualifications
Desirable traits and qualifications include strong writing skills, ability to think critically and analytically, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, the ability to work independently, a positive attitude, good academic standing, and a willingness to learn.
