Methode Electronics is seeking an Assembler to fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units according to customer specifications.

The regular hours for this position are 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Read work orders to assemble components by hand or by using small hand-operated equipment

• Test, calibrate, and fit parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

• Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Assembly experience preferred

• Basic math skills- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
