Job Title: Night Cleaner Lead - Part Time (IDA)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a Night Cleaner Lead Part-time in Arlington, VA. This position oversees the supervision of housekeeping night shift, quality control, and direct accomplishment of housekeeping operations at the IDA sites in Arlington, VA & Washington DC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assigns tasks to night shift workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards. Perform QC/Safety for night shift housekeeping staff.
• Manages the night shift housekeeping operations for the IDA facilities.
• Has ultimate responsibility for all matters pertaining to night shift housekeeping at the IDA sites.
• Will backfill Housekeeping Supervisor as necessary.
• As a working supervisor, will directly conduct housekeeping operations to include: sweep, mop, scrub hallways and stairs, empty trash and garbage containers, clean bathrooms, and replace supplies.
• Account for all required tools and equipment for night shift housekeeping operations. Reports needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Works closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as directed by his Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Seven (6) or more years experience in housekeeping on Commercial-Industrial building equipment.
• Be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures and technologies.

• Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
• Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, and/or parts.
• Manual dexterity and mobility.
• Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.
