The Role
Responsible for Torque Validation / Calibration activities of hand held power tools, torque wrenches and fixtured tooling at our customer's location. This position will be based at the customer's facility, but will require 5% travel nationally for training purposes. The Torque Technician will be responsible for setup and verifying the tools are within target torque range, executing the appropriate protocols when a tool is found to be out of specification and interfacing directly with the customer when needed. Maintain an understanding and practice of the continuous improvement principals & lean manufacturing. In addition, this person will perform Static Route Validation checks on joints per customer needs.
A-Shift (7:00-5:540) B-Shift (7:30-6:10)
This position will require applicants to be able to lift 65lbs, stand for long periods of time, and walk around the plant regularly.
