Job Description
The athletic video internship was created to mentor passionate and creative students around telling the NKU Athletic story. Upon completion of this internship, students should have a deeper understanding of what it takes to create compelling and visually appealing athletic video content.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Shoot creative video for any of NKU’s 15 sports
  • Assist with creative video shoots
    • transport equipment
    • setup/teardown of equipment
    • act as a second shooter
    • provide creative input
  • Create highlight/hype videos for the video board and nkunorse.com
  • Assist with graphics for the video board, and any other area they may be needed
  • Labeling and organizing footage
  • Assist Director of Digital Media with other athletic projects
Qualifications
  • Experience with the Adobe Suite
    • Premiere Pro
    • Photoshop
    • After Effects (recommended but not necessary)
  • Experience shooting and editing video
  • Familiar with lighting, audio and camera equipment
  • Passionate about sports and the fan experience
  • Willingness to fill different support roles on the spot
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Works outside the box and is willing to take risks
Minimum Education High School Diploma
Pay Rate Unpaid, but the opportunity may exist to earn course credit
